Avo + Spinach Protein Smoothie

PREP TIME • 5 minutes

MAKES • 2 persons (250ml / 10 ounce servings) • 9 ingredients • 4 optional boosters • 2 steps

INGREDIENTS • Plant milk (2 cups) - we recommend almond or hemp • Protein powder (4tbsp) – chocolate is a great flavor • Aloha or Neat are great options • Avocado (quarter / half) – the more you use the creamier it will taste • Spinach leaves (1 cup) • Mint leaves (1/4 cup) or 2 drops of peppermint oil • Natural sweetener (1tbsp) – maple syrup, raw honey are our favourites • Salt (1 pinch) – Himalayan or sea salt • Handful of ice • Cacao nibs (2 tbsp) OPTIONAL BOOSTERS • Blue Green Algae powder (1/4 tsp) • Maca root powder (1/2 tsp) • Ashwagandha powder (1/8 tsp) • Rhodiola extract (3 drops)

STEP 1: • In a blender combine all ingredients except ice and Cacao nibs until smooth. • For an extra crunch to encourage absorption add the Cacao nibs and pulse a few times. Do not over blend.

STEP 2: • Serve in a glass, ceramic mug or in a drink flask for the afternoon. Optional hemp seeds and cacao nibs to sprinkle on top
